Sick

It is now Monday and my hopes of shaking this cold by Sunday have all since faded.
I guess thats what happens when you work with eight runny noses, eight drooley mouths and eight sneezy noses in mid-November. What did I expect? And me, being the queen of sick was bound to get it sooner or later. Sigh, all the vitamins in the world couldn't help my immune system.
Anywho, yesterday was a bit of a dissapointment. I didn't end up going to the thrift store I wanted because it was on the other side of the river in downton Portland and I wasn't up for the trip. So I went to Goodwill. No shoes. But... they had some really cool silver platters and gravy boats and such that just needed a bit of polishing. I was going to get them but then I realized, "hey, you don't have a house yet. Where are you going to store all of this for the next two years?". Mike, work harder so that you can get a promotion, move back home and get us a house. And... practice putting up Christmas lights. Ha ha ha.
I am still a little bummed about coming home with no antiques or vintage shoes but I didn't come home empty handed. I did find Christina a great present at Pier 1 Imports (which is now my new favortie store). I also got Mike's Christmas package done and a little present for Bryan.

So all and all Sunday was a little bit productive... except for the fact that I didn't get any homework done... or cleaning.

Cheers.

Ok so I just realized that it might be helpful to know names. Christina is my best friend who I met at work but doesn't work there anymore. I love her to death and we are still really close. Mike is my other best friend. I've known him since like seventh grade but we've only been friends for two years. He is in the Air Force and stationed, obviously, not at home. I think thats all I can say about him because of disclosure issues with the AF. Oh and Bryan is Mike's other best friend from home who just happens to be in the AF with him and stationed with him. Confusing?
